At Cold Shot Reloading LLC, our expertise is built on a lifelong passion for firearms and a commitment to precision. Our founder, Jon Boyce, has dedicated his career to understanding what it takes to achieve peak performance. His background as a U.S. Army Corps of Engineers Park Ranger and a Veteran with two combat tours in Iraq gives him a unique perspective on the demands of serious shooting.

A Legacy of Precision

Jon’s journey began in rural Ohio, where hunting and shooting were more than just hobbies-they were a way of life. Taught by his father John (Jeff) Boyce, he learned the art of reloading and how small modifications to a cartridge could dramatically change a firearm’s performance. This foundation was built on a shared passion for precision, as they worked together to craft ammunition that allowed them to consistently hit targets from hundreds of yards away. Together Jon, Jeff, and his cousin Keith Snider learned the art of reaching the absolute maximum capability of a cartridge. Whether shooting a 12Ga. slug at a deer at 300 yards, or target shooting 500 yards with a .22-250 through a hayfield, this knowledge and dedication to the craft continue to be the driving force behind Cold Shot Reloading LLC.

Experience Forged in Service

Jon’s six years of active duty in the Army, including 27 months in Iraq, further refined his skills and deepened his understanding of tactical shooting. As a Purple Heart recipient who served on route clearance and as an EOD escort, he knows firsthand the critical importance of reliable gear and uncompromising accuracy. This invaluable experience is what allows us to deliver elite-level solutions to our clients.
